Congrats to the new Moderator of the Month and for the Member of the Month there was a tie. See how Members voted by going to the Honor Club. I must say that votes this month were disappointing. Can you believe that some of those evil men were from Trinidad? I can, because I also run the www.TTCrime.com site and associated Board and it seems like Trinidad is just spiraling out of control. Remember that our peace rating was near the bottom of the list only recently - there is no sanity here, and the people keep on their merry way while inflation continues to rise. Islam Under Question Now in addition to above we have Islam which is being heavily debated in the Community right now. A couple of our Members who seem to be experienced Muslims are trying in some regards to paint a picture of Islam as that of a peaceful religion. Yet all we read are about are terrorist attacks and bombings. In the above JFK plot guess what was the religion of those men? Admin's Rant We were recently in transit and offline for about a week and a half. I apologize for not getting around to your questions, comments and Threads sooner, but all seems to be well now. I would especially like to thank those of you who were actively participating and checking on things especially Krakyn as he seemed to be the top poster while we were away - good on you! As usual there is a host of Threads and Topics for those of you daring enough to give your input with the following being some of those that seem rather unique: Church of Thin - Religion based on food? More Schools or More Teachers - TTUTA Role Playing Games In Ruler of Kings I am the Ruler and in Emperor of Asia I am the Emperor, so my question to all those losers out there is this... "What is the matter, am I really so good?" No need to answer that, I know I am, that is why I am on top right? Recently a player on ROK asked the purpose of credits - soon these WILL be active for FP and other features so you do really want to keep these as you get them. Admin's Rants We have some exciting things coming up soon especially for those of you who have been enjoying Ruler of Kings and Emperor of Asia. In the coming weeks we will also be adding Germany 1939, Jerusalem Conquest and Future Terra. Perhaps of those the most controversial will be Jerusalem Conquest as it will mainly focus on the time of the Crusades with character choices being that of Templars, Muslims, Jews and so forth. The Boards have already been added to the RPG section and as I get them coded I will add the details. Not everyone can handle the level at which our Community operates and they often find themselves in a stupor of thought or clueless as to what to say.  There are many Topics out there and based on some recent feedback I have realized that some do not really know just how much there is available to Members - all Members, not just the intellectual ones, not just the experienced ones, but everyone can add something. For instance, one Member pointed out that when they first joined and visited a Thread they thought it only had one page and it was only after a month did they realize that  there  is a  Page 2, 3, 4 and so forth to Topics. Make sure to check all the pages to get a good understanding of the Topic. Others often say that the Community is mostly about Politics. Maybe Politics is the most Discussed, but the Community certainly is not only about Politics. There are many Boards that have a lighter side or specific theme for which most anyone can participate. Here are some of those Boards: Comics & Anime - haven't you read or saw one? We cover all here. Poetry - do you know the prose? Share yours or rate others. Visual Channels - rate cable channels such as CNN, HBO, ESPN, etc. Historical Profiles - this Board has information about people and places - you can learn a lot here. In fact, recently I was reading a quiz and was able to answer one of the questions correctly because of something I learned on this Board. Dancing - do you have any good moves? Now that we have covered some of the Boards that you may not have seen here are specific Threads that are currently hot in the Community: Ambulance for the Obese - a bit too much? Condensation in the Home - we all get it, but how to get rid of it? Guantanamo Going To Close - are you sad about that? Gold Cup Football - am I the only one interested in the current Gold Cup? Ruler's Rants - just imagine that some people think they can win in Ruler of Kings Robert Morey Questions Islam - this Thread may make our Muslim Members get hot with anger? Manhunt 2 - banned in Britain - I say  "good!", but I am sure others disagree An ADHD Cure - flog them til they change? Your REAL Reason For Being Part of the Community - Members share their views TTUTA Members - there are some Threads there with no replies, see if you can answer LDS Members - upgrade to see what we are Discussing in the Mature section Jerusalem Conquest RPG - is this game going to stir some controversy?
