Install Carpet

New carpet can bring a lot of value to a home and can also add to the decor. I have actually installed carpet in one room myself, and with the right tools, it is not that difficult. Have you ever installed carpet in a house? What tips, techniques and suggestions would you offer to someone who was interested in doing this on their own?

Carpet Install

Make sure it gets properly stretch! If you don't you will begin to find bubbles and wrinkles up to two years after you install it. Over time this just gets worse. Make sure you stretch it and it is secure on the carpet tack strips, don't use nails or you won't be able to restretch it if you need to.
