Slave passage found at Washington house
Archaeologists unearthing the remains of George Washington's presidential home have discovered a hidden passageway used by his nine slaves, raising questions about whether the ruins should be incorporated into a new exhibit at the site.

If they can preserve the structures and stop decay I think they should leave them on display. It is a part of history and tells a story on its own as to how the people lived in those times. Perhaps in time people would be able to use the passage and what better place to describe the people who used them then in the tunnels themselves. Would give a better feel to the stories to the reader. Edited: krakyn on 12th Jun, 2007 - 5:51pm
