Michael Moore

People love him. People hate him. It probably depends which side of the fence you sit on. Michael Moore is a regular target of the blogs and call-in shows. He's a liberal with attitude who pushes his views through the medium of documentary filmmaking, and his films are loaded with bite and humor. In films such as "Fahrenheit 9/11," "Roger and Me" and "Bowling for Columbine," some say he spreads falsehoods, some say he spreads the truth. Moore's latest work is called "Sicko," and it takes a look at the state of health care in America. Moore's always got an angle, but his treatment here is much more sober than in his other films. "Nightline" co-anchor Terry Moran spent the day with Moore in Sacramento, Calif., where he met with legislators to discuss health care in this country, and with a group of nurses who went to a screening of the film. Terry sat down with Moore for a wide-ranging conversation about politics, health care and why some people find him so odious. He had some interesting and surprising answers.

He has been caught in lies before on camera. I feel a lot of what he says is true but he is almost like a Dr. Phil or Opera. You only really here one version, though they try and pretend you hear the other side. All the questions are preset and answers twisted to be in their favor. This way your only sane response is to agree with them. If you question anything immediately, your comment is made to look shocking and horribly wrong.

For entertainment value I might sit threw a film like this, just out of curiosity. I don't think people should take everything he says so literal. Bottom line he is an entertainer and uses half truths to work peoples emotions up.
