2 ea Egg, well beaten 1 c Brown sugar 1 c Dates, chopped 1 t Baking powder 2 T Flour 1 c Nuts, chopped Mix in the order given. Bake at 325-F for 30 minutes. Serve with cream. Source: Pennsylvania Dutch Cook Book - Fine Old Recipes, Culinary Arts Press, 1936. |
