Mother's Day Events To Protest Electroshock

There were Mother's Day events to protest the use of electroshock also known as electroconvulsive therapy, ECT and shock.

The Coalition Against Psychiatric Assault (CAPA) which is in Toronto, Canada. CAPA organized the protest in Toronto called "Stop Shocking our Mothers and Grandmothers"

The slogan was picked because more women than men are given ECT. Montreal, Quebec and Cork, Ireland held their own Mother's Day events as well. The events were very successful. Congratulations to all.

Electroshock Protest Events Day Mothers

I have seen this post duplicated in other places before and so I am not sure what the purpose really is... spamming or information. If it is truly to disseminate information then a return visit with follow up should be warranted.
