Missing Ohio Mom Jessie Davis

Are you all following this case? A nine-month pregnant woman is missing since last Wednesday. Her two years old son was found in the apartment by the missing woman's father after a day she did not return phone calls. He found the baby with a dirty diaper and hungry. When asked where is his mommy, he keeps saying "Mommy broke the table", "Mommy is crying" "Mommy is in the rug" That's all he says. Police found the house on a mess, a broken table and bleach pour all over the floor. There is a comforter missing. Now the interesting part is that the police knowing the violent history of the missing woman's boyfriend, says he is not a suspect. Two questions I have:

Is the police trying to cover up one of their own? (he is a police officer)

Prior to become a police officer, the guy had problems with the law with regards to domestic violence, I thought you needed a super clean record in order to become an officer?

I am so sorry for this woman but it is more than clear to me that she is likely dead.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to Jessie Davis, the 9-months-pregnant Ohio mom who disappeared last week, police said Wednesday.

Authorities have obtained phone records requested by subpoena, Stark County chief deputy Rick Perez told reporters at a news conference. He didn't elaborate.

Perez also said that DNA tests done on a day-old infant girl abandoned in a basket on a doorstep near where Davis, 26, lives and was last seen will take about two weeks to come back.

Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch said Davis' family had enlisted his services in trying to find the missing woman.

Miller told reporters in a press conference Wednesday that sonar equipment had been brought in for possible water searches, and the public's help was needed.

"We're holding onto that hope that maybe she's still alive out there," Miller said. "Our goal is to bring her back alive."

Whitney Davis, who appeared with Miller, said the family was "relieved" to have Equusearch participating in trying to find her sister. She said their mother was "distraught" and "sad" over Jessie's disappearance.

She still missing, her mother believes her boyfriend is a suspect and now there is a witness who saw a vehicle in her driveway. I get the feeling that soon we will hear of an arrest.

UNIONTOWN, Ohio -  An SUV-type vehicle was in Jessie Davis' driveway and garage between the hours of 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. early June 16, a witness told authorities investigating the disappearance of the 26-year-old pregnant mother, a local Cleveland TV station reported.

The witness said he or she saw bright headlights from a "high-profile-type" of vehicle in Davis' Canton, Ohio, area home and heard loud music blaring from the vehicle when it left. It apparently backed into the driveway and into the garage, WOIO reported.

Davis' mother, Patricia Porter, found the home ransacked and her 2-year-old son Blake in the home about 30 hours later.

"Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy's in rug," the boy said.

Investigators think the suspect knew Davis' neighbor, who lived in the other half of the duplex home, was gone on vacation, the station reported.

Bobby Cutts Jr., the father to Davis' son and unborn daughter, has fully cooperated with police and has not been named a suspect. He was at Champps Sports Bar in north Canton, the station reported, until 12:30 a.m., but no alibi has been reported for the police officer after then.

I just read they found her body. As my last post indicated, an arrest was close. I am glad they charge him and hope justice prevails. It is pathetic that a man who is supposed to protect and serve others is a murderer. My deepest condolences to her family.

A second arrest took place. A former schoolmate of Cutts (a female) have been arrested in connection with the disappearance and murder of Jessie Davis. It is interesting to notice that despite Cutts of being married and having an affair with the victim, having kids with three different women (his wife, Davis and a former girlfriend) he still have time to create a profile in a popular singles web site. He created an account just a month ago and updated his profile just two days before the victim's disappearance.

CANTON, Ohio -  A body found at the end of a days-long search for a nearly nine months pregnant woman is indeed hers, a medical examiner confirmed Sunday as investigators made a second arrest in the case of her disappearance.

A massive search for the woman ended Saturday when authorities announced they found a body they believed to be that of 26-year-old Jessie Davis. Bobby Cutts Jr., a police officer they suspect is the father of the unborn child, was arrested on two counts of murder.

Agents and Stark County sheriff's deputies arrested Myisha Ferrell, described as a former classmate of the man being held for arraignment on murder charges, after breaking down the door of her apartment Saturday night, FBI agent Scott Wilson said. She was charged with obstruction of justice.

Davis was due to deliver a baby girl on July 3 but was reported missing after her mother found Davis' 2-year-old son home alone, bedroom furniture toppled and bleach spilled on the floor....

Well, he was found guilty. Will he face the death penalty?

QUOTE
CANTON, Ohio  -  A jury has convicted former Ohio police officer Bobby Cutts Jr. of murdering his pregnant girlfriend and their unborn baby.

He could face the death penalty.

Cutts was convicted of aggravated murder in the death of the nearly full-term female fetus.

The jury found him not guilty of aggravated murder in Davis' death, a count that includes intent to kill with prior calculation and design. But they convicted him of a lesser charge of murder in her death.

Aggravated murder carries a possible death sentence.

Cutts, who resigned as a Canton patrolman after his arrest, had pleaded not guilty to all charges...
