Korea Trades With Islamists For Hostages

Militant Islamists took as hostages several Christian missionaries from South Korea. After killing at least one hostage, the Islamists are now releasing the Koreans in response to South Korea's promise to leave Afghanistan.

Is it proper to abandon your allies on the battle field because Islamists take your people hostage?
