Is there a special Bathroom Carpet that can be easily maintained?

I don't really like bathroom carpets, but they do make one that has an anti-slip backing, and is waterproof. You don't fit it as such, but instead, cut around the shape of your room, and the anti-slip backing keeps it in place, and also it is fully machine washable! (It's really like a fitted rug), but I think that if you're having a bathroom carpet, it doesn't sound like a bad idea to have this type, as long as it doesn't shrink in the wash.
