Bankashkm Introduction

Hi,
I am bankash and have been a member of the Lds church since 1998. I hold a degree in English, writing and minor in history. My hobbies are photography, writing, traveling and working with missionaries as much as possible. My son is on a mission in Canada and I have a daughter as well.

I stumbled onto this site and became thoroughly interested, particularly after reading some threads about Emma Hale Smith, who is my great great grandmother. I was saddened to see some of the things that I read and hope that I will be able to answer questions if anyone would like to know. At the last Joseph Smith Jr family reunion my cousin Gracia Jones made the comment, "The Smith family will never completely come back into the church until the church members begin to accept Emma and leave behind the misperceptions that have been passed from one generation to the next."
I look forward to visiting with everyone.
