If you are looking for a simple, but tasty Italian recipe, then this is it!
Tuna and pasta bake.
Ingredients
Enough pasta for however many people you are making for --up to 4 people (if you use 100g per person as a rough guideline)
300g of tinned tuna-- or fresh if you prefer-but cook it first.
1x jar of tomato based pasta sauce.
1x tin of sweetcorn kernels (approx 200g)
2 packets of ready salted crisps
250g of cheese for cooking.
salt and pepper to taste.
Method
1. Boil the pasta, until just soft.Drain and rinse.
2. Place pasta into a large oven proof bowl or dish.
3. Mix in the tuna, sweetcorn, sauce, salt and pepper.
4. Level out, and layer over the top the ready salted crisps.
5. Grate the cheese, and sprinkle over the crisps.
6. Place in oven on a moderate heat, until the cheese is golden.
This is really good with a fresh salad!
