Church Of Thin

I saw a clip of this Church on TV. The Pastor of this Church was in Tyra's show. They have some "interesting" beliefs. What is your opinion about it?

QUOTE
As Gwen began talking, she mentioned that she prayed to God to guide her in wearing the right outfit during her national interview with a retired supermodel. Tyra responded that He led her fiercely! Gwen began to share her story. Ironically, she became overweight when she was working toward a master's degree in Dietetics. Because of her personal struggle, she was called to help others. She tried all types of weight loss programs, and none worked. She eventually began tracking skinny people, observed their eating methods and began forming her notions.

So, the big question is, what food does God want you to eat? According to Gwen, He wants you to eat anything, but there are some limitations. With Tyra's stage loaded with an array of scrumptious delights like burgers, onion rings, French fries, and chocolate brownies and soda, Gwen showed us her church's eating techniques. Before you dig into the burger, take a shot of orange juice to raise your blood sugar levels. Wait 20 minutes before eating your meal. Gwen helped Tyra cut her burger into pieces, and loaded half of it with ketchup, mustard and salt (LOTS of salt)! Gwen also instructed Tyra to sip your drink between bites and nibble on your food rather than taking big bites. M & M's are so tiny that it seems nearly impossible to eat only a few. Gwen recommended that you pick you favorite color out the bunch and put one in your mouth. Let it melt in your mouth until the chocolate bursts. Take your time and don't eat the entire pack. Lastly, any true fan knows how much Tyra adores barbecue ribs. According to Gwen's eating plan, she can eat those too! The key is to take small bites of your food and listen to your stomach. Also, Gwen told us to be thankful to God for the food...

Thin Church

Nonsense, simply put this is 'praying' (spelling intentional) on marketing tactics to get money. If you want to lose weight then have some self-control, any set of holy writ would tell you that, no need to set up a 'church' for it.

The only sensible thing in the whole lot was take time to listen to your stomach as it will tell you when it is full. Wow a whole church following this person that is scary.

Thin Church

A lot of what Gwen is saying does make sense, but I don't feel that making a church or religion out of it is good. Religion and dieting shouldn't really be mixed in this way (in my humble opinion)
It is good though that she is praising God, but it makes you wonder how beneficial it is to her to make her church popular...
