I think in summary;
It is not official doctrine, nor doctrine any other general authority has ever really suggested as true.
The account is only by David Patten and says a creature claimed to be Caine.
Either it was Caine or a counterfeit is up for debate.
Also, the historian that recorded it was mentioned as being unreliable. This whole question could be based on an event that didn't happen.
After that, it's really up to the individual to formulate their opinions and pray for confirmation. God Bless.

Comments: We were just discussing this last night over a family game of Settlers (we call the robber Cain. Nerd humor.) I think Hyperwrx's original question is a valid one, and presents what I think could be a possible explanation: [quote] We know Cain Worshiped Satan more than God and thus it makes sense his job now would be the demise of humanity, much like the 1/3 hosts of heaven that were cast down from the preexistence. My question is HOW does Cain go about this task? [quote] My theory is that Cain is dead (as he did nothing to earn a translated body or eternal life) and wanders the earth as a spirit. He probably couldn't have much persuasive influence in his body as described by Patten, so I'm guessing he's rejoined the legions of other spirits that share his same mission.
Yes, I do believe that Cain is bigfoot. here is proof:

Comments: You may have a quote, which is a quote from another source who said he saw that, BUT it is not a doctrinal fact and shouldn't be taken like that. There has been no official statement by the church on Cain or Bigfoot being seen or the same person.

Comments: The fact that we have not read it, or heard it from a GA, doesn't mean that it couldn't be true, right?
Could it be that this is part of the "Meat"? You know, . . . Drink milk before eating meat, walk before running. Meaning that maybe those who really truly want to know, and can handle it are those who know? Maybe that is why it is not taught openly? Because it may affect those who are not really at a point where they can "digest" this "meat"? . . . I would suppose that there are many things that are not taught openly, but that doesn't make them any less true, I think. I couldn't give you examples 'cause I'm still drinking milk, no teeth here yet. Just sharing the idea.
