Up until today when I would rest at the in my HP would refresh but my MP would not. Today when I logged on, my MP does refresh but my HP only refreshes about 2 points for each stay at the Inn. Not enough to heal you back to fighting status.
Addendum: Upon further play, my magic does refresh, I guess I just need to learn more patience. 
And yet upon further play I find that if I let myself get down to 1 MP it does not refresh when I heal at the Inn.

I had the same problem. If you get down to 1 mp it will not refresh but if you log of and wait a day it will come back. I have found that if your real low on HP you may only get 2 or 3 hp back per rest at the inn. After a few golds spent at the inn you will get more hop and it will regenerate quicker. I think this has something to do with the more your hurt the longer it takes to heal.

The Game Master says...Maybe you guys are trying to rush the MP? Play another game when you are waiting on this one (we have 30 here to keep you occupied). I will not be looking at Solo I for quite awhile.

That is a possibility JB. I know how to get my MP back now. I just do not let it get to 1. 
Take your time looking at this as I am sure it is not a big deal yet.
