MINISTER EXPLAINS CASH IN BATHROOM
Argentina's economy minister said Saturday she committed no crime by hiding a bag stuffed with US$64,000 in cash in her office bathroom.

Ridiculous! Who is going to believe that non-sense? A Full investigation should take place to determine the source of that money...it smells badly to bribe.

Well Argentina has her first female President. I wonder if after the five years (or is it four) the husband will run for his seat again? An interesting way to skip the law of consecutive terms.

In Argentine's law, once the President dies the Vice-President takes over. During Juan Domingo's Peron third term as President, she was serving as his Vice-President so when he passed away, she took over. Nevertheless, in order to do that she had to sworn as President.
By the way, she was the third wife of Peron not the second one as I stated earlier. She is currently under house arrest in Madrid, pending extradition to Argentina because of charges against her related to missing people in the 70's.
