HOT DOG CHILI SAUCE RECALLED AFTER 4 HOSPITALIZED WITH BOTULISM
Federal health officials warned consumers Wednesday to throw away certain cans of hot dog chili sauce after the product was linked to botulism that has sent four people to the hospital.

This seems to be widespread as Canada is now saying it is two types.

That's why I think is very important NOT to but cans with dents on it (even the slightest). I notice many people do it but is a very dangerous practice because you are at risk of botulism.

Some stores in the United States are still selling recalled canned chili sauce, stew, hash and other foods potentially contaminated with poisonous bacteria, apparently unaware of warnings that the products could kill.
