Do You Know The Church Is True?

"Let every one get a knowledge for himself that this work is true. We do not want you to say that it is true until you know that it is; and if you know it, that knowledge is as good to you as though the Lord came down and told you.

True Church The You Do

One of the blessings of the Latter-day Saints is that Heavenly Father will show you that our religion is true. If you pray and you ask, truly ask and want to know, you will be shown. It is the truth. You need only ask and you will be shown. I have had so many people ask me how I know that "my" religion is the "true" religion and I tell them all the same thing. "I know because I have asked" They think I am "crazy" or that I am a zealot, but I simply say. Read very small passages in the BOM and pray. Please, just pray with an open mind and an open heart and ask Heavenly Father and you will be shown. It makes me smile every single time. How can you not be happy?

I don't doubt that this church is true. In my life as difers as it is I've studied a range of many things. Putting everything I learned The Spirit wispers that this is the true church and the work of the Lord.

True Church The You Do

"Time marches on. Duty keeps cadence with that march. Duty does not dim nor diminish. Catastrophic conflicts come and go, but the war waged for the souls of men continues without abatement. Like a clarion call comes the word of the Lord to you and to me, and to priesthood holders everywhere. I reiterate that word: 'Wherefore, now let every man learn his duty, and to act in the office in which he is appointed, in all diligence' (D&C 107:99). "Brethren, let us learn our duties. Let us ever be worthy to perform those duties and, in so doing, follow in the footsteps of the Master. True Church The You Do

The Church is true, but unfortunately I am not always so true.

I have no doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the Earth today. I do not however feel that there is no truth found in other Churches. That is why I try to be careful in criticizing the Faith of others. I know that there are people of other faiths who are closer to God at times then I am.

Membership in the Church is not a guarantee of Exaltation, but I know that baptism by one who is authorized is the first step.
