Malo e lelei. My name is Andrew Douglas. I served in Tonga as Elder Takilesi beginning with our arrival from the Provo MTC in February 1992 until returning home in December of 1993. I loved my mission experience, I could not have been called to serve anywhere else. I was privileged to serve in each of the three main island groups and Niuatoputapu as well. I married, shortly after my return, in June of 1994 in the San Diego CA Temple. We have six children currently, our sixth having just arrived from Tonga since the completion of her adoption at the end of April this year (2007.) I currently Direct a program for troubled American youth. I bring them from their homes in the states to have the experience of a lifetime in Tonga. We currently employ over 14 Tongan staff members in addition to a full time therapist from the States. This business has me flying back and forth nearly once per month. I am still receiving blessings from my willingness to serve in Tonga. "Malo 'aupito pea Tu'a 'Ofa Atu."
