Is the Principles of Christian Jurisprudence more about Religion or the Law?

Theoretically, I believe the answer is 50-50. By definition, Christian jurisprudence is the application of law using Christian principles. You can't separate them from one another.

I would say it is more about Religion, since what initiates the law in the first place if it isn't the Religious dictates of laws already made and then the empowerment of that law among the populous?
