Man under suspicion of shaving swastika on dog
German police are investigating a 29-year-old man suspected of shaving banned Nazi symbols into his dog's fur. Public display of Nazi symbols is illegal in Germany. If found guilty, the man faces a jail term of up to three years.

The police noticed this when they arrived to the suspect's house. Given that the suspect's former girlfriend was afraid of him I am not surprised that he would do this.
