TriniBoi right. People were hoping that the COP would be some level of control on how the government did things, namely UNC government but instead all they did was put a rubber stamp on UNC decisions. The people aren't happy with the UNC so the result for COP was automatic.

COP up for internal elections but truly I don't see any of the contenders for leadership of the COP as being really that strong as to sway the national vote.

Elections for leader of the COP will be held tomorrow. What are your predictions? Who will be the next leader?

It might be that Prakash Ramadhar retains the leadership but who knows, I don't really follow the COP because I feel they will not be counted seriously in the next election.

Lots of people were hoping that the COP would be a maneuvering guide for the UNC but it didn't happen that way, in fact the UNC maneuvered the COP as far as I'm concerned. I feel everyone has seen what the COP is about and probably will not give them another term in office. If they get one seat then they are lucky.

The COP are coming back with the same faces for the upcoming elections. Do you think this is a good move?
