Really? Strange since you did manage to Post your introduction and venture on to Post a reply to another Thread in less than 10 minutes. I guess you did not read that an Introduction is required as part of your joining this Community now did you?

I'm just getting tired of having to register, remember password, fill in introductory pages, click on the confirmation email, to add what I think is a single instructive comment (in maybe the only thread to which I will ever contribute), instructive since I particularly know this situation, I live in the village mentioned in this news item.

Oh I get it, you thought you were registering on one of those Blogs or run of the mill kind of Communities did you? This site is more than that and if you take the time to look around and discover rather than vent frustration because you lack self-control then you might realize that, but as you rightly said, your stay will be short, and I can see why.
