What are your thoughts about the recent announcement by a high ranking police officer that the stealing of cars is on the rise in Trinidad & Tobago?

I am not surprised. Recently, a person at Church told me that their son went into Hi-Lo St. Augustine to get an item and when he came out his car was gone. It has been two weeks now and no word yet.

Some years ago I was also had my car stolen while I was in Church of all places! Yes, they came on the Church's grounds and took the car while I was in a meeting. Fortunately I got it back three days after minus jack, spanner and battery. I have the feeling that they tried to gas it too much and it stalled. The car was found in Laventille - go figure.
