Js.trojan.blinder

As I am speaking, my Norton AV engine on my laptop is running and has detected 3 instances of the JS.Trojan.Blinder virus. They are all stored in my Temp Internet Files folder. I searched Symantec's website and found the following information on it:

https://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/js....an.blinder.html

QUOTE
JS.Trojan.Blinder is an embedded JavaScript Trojan horse that spoofs the URL displayed in the browser address bar.....

When a Web page containing the embedded JavaScript Trojan is visited, the address bar will display a fake URL.

The page displayed is a form that requests personal banking and ATM information. This may lead a user to believe that they are visiting a trusted Web site, when they are actually browsing a malicious Web site.

Interestingly enough I found the same virus on my second pc at work. According to Symantec, threat assessment is low. Has anyone else encountered this virus?

I have not encountered this. I'll be sure to update my virus software tonight and run a scan. It's so aggravating! Thanks for the info, malexander.
