If they are poor we can get our rewards from those we find responsible for the attacks. IF it is just wolves we can sale their pelts and split the profits. I for one do not want to take hard earned coins from the poor. I have the feeling they may already be suffering if their flock has been depleted some by what ever is attacking.

OOC: Well, taking in consideration our reputation (specially Daphne and Kalfie's) if they are very poor, we could do it for free with the intent to raise our reputation, if we do a good job our "fame" will be spread among the villagers.

Maybe we should explain why we are there or something. Just hollaring ain't going to do it. If I were an old man I would be scared of Beowulf too! laugh.gif

QUOTE
Kalfie party order posting
Content knowing now the beasts are ok and nothing is attacking the herds Daphne and Kalfie return to Klars side. and kalfie gives indication to Beowolf that all is fine at Daphne's end.

Seeing all is ok, Beowolf calls in a friendly manner to the occupants stating that we seek the farmer who has been plagued by the attacks on their herds and wish to speak to the person in charge of the house.

As you can see Beowolf I though we had covered that precise issue with the explaining of that we sought the farmer who is being attacked....perhaps I should have said is a soft gentle voice. Sorry.

Still the issue at hand is one the farmer is actually out and about and it is only the daughter at home. Two like you said we just managed to scare the pants off of them. I think that was JB hint also.

Now let us assume we scared them....

Inspect the fence to see if it is secure enough to place the horses in it and look for a stable of sort? We need t make it known we are not going any where, and that we mean no harm. So if the fence is damaged if we repair it perhaps that will buy some faith and if the old man is out in pasture it keeps us from looking like we were here to attack the girl. Any other thoughts we need options please.

Ok there is no response. I think we should explore around the farm site. DO what repairs we can do to help assist the farmer because if he is old and only has a daughter there may be repairs he has not had the time to do. This will show we are meaning well. We need someone to stay by the front of the house in case the person in the house wants to talk. Everyone should retain their weapons in case something goes awry. I think if the person inside is female she may be more ready to talk to another female. What do you guys think?

OOC: I think the men should check around to see if they can repair anything needed. Daphne can leave all her weapons and approach the door and try to call out again, maybe if they see a female they will feel better about it.

OOC: I am not sure that relieving yourself of your weapons is a wise idea if we men are going to be out repairing and checking the fence lines. Since we do not know who is in fact inside the building you may be at greater risk.

Klar, Beowolf scout the smaller buildings nearby and fencing for damage that might be repairable.

Kalfie on horse rides to any building that maybe a little farther but still within the perimeter of the immediate farm as he rides he is noting the condition of the fence lines. Anything that looks like the may be usable for making repairs are noted.

Once done they will regroup to discuss their findings with Daphne back near the farm house.

Meanwhile ...

Daphne walks with her horse towards the farm house and calls gently in a reassuring manner to the occupants and explains her friends and her are here to help protect the flock as they heard from some in town that such aid might be needed here. (Daphne will give as much detail as possible as to whom the party had spoke.) Daphne will also explain that them other even know are looking things over to see what repairs they can help with and what materials maybe available to aid in that work. Daphne also lets the young lady they seek the male of the house and are wiling to wait out side till he returns from the fields if he is not home presently.

ooc let me know what adjustment any wish to see then I will post early this afternoon
End of post.

*grunts* You are all wise and speak truly we shall seek to make repairs were we can. Dahne I think you should keep your weapons sword in belt, bow on horse as this is not unusual for one who is traveling these parts.
