Beowolf the barn is north ...

Top is east ....bottom west .. right south ... left north.

Gm sees to wish us to place the pits closer to the barn or might just be clarifying for us that the first suggested locations are about 300 to 400 ft away from barn.

Sheep Meh Protect camp

I think the pits need to be to the south where the wolves are coming from. We do not need them close at all. We want the pits out a bit away from the farm. The pits are just to harrass and kill a wolf or two. If the pits and traps are placed correctly we can funnel the wolves to a pit trap and to the barn where we can be waiting.

So we leave the pits as mention prior and set snare at 60 feet (e and w) from barn widening out to 20 feet on the far side of the pits. This would allow a funnel effect and if any show at barn so be it. We could slap a few sheep and make then bleat also.

Well it all depends where were the wolf prints found? Then if we are keeping the animals in the barn there wont be nothing much to attract them.

Sheep Meh Protect camp

To try and trick a few into stepping into the pits they are baited with chickens. The snares are to upset or hopefully snag a few. Imagine five walking together one goes in a snare up he goes the rest move away and inward towards the smell of the sheep in the barn.

In the and we hope they pass within sight and not just bolt. They never ate last night as well as they normally do so now they are a bit braver. We are trying to take advantage of that.

Once they attack we will all rest and head to track down the remainders in the Am and finish this mess.

I am sure Klar is on that thought also. Does this sound plausible to you and what holes can we plug if you see them?

The track were south side of the pen and headed south to the open plains. There is a general map in the Medievil forum look it up, you will understand better perhaps the lay of the far lands.

Alright I'll follow you on this one and if it doesnt work then I'll make some suggestions. My sword is ready and hopefully Sophia will gimme a break!

[camp] Protect Meh Sheep World Medieval PBP RPG - Page 40

Well *Throws a rock at Beowolf* I for one am off to the barn if some one likes they can keep an eye out here but not Beowolf . I will dine later when things quiet down. If there be bread we could snack out there or perhaps take a bowl to go. I do not think we be seeing anything this night but at least if at the barn we can kill critters that sneak in.

Kalfie Daphne and Klar all walk to Beowolf and yell "To the barn your sword be needed lessen ye be scared!"

Then Kalfie and Klar head to the barn knowing they are safer away from the little wretch Sophie. What food they can manage is taken with them and those in the house will eat also. Two eat two watch then last two eat unless required to fight.

All will stay awake till the wolves try to attack the sheep or all quietens down. Then Klar and Beowolf will keep watch till 1:00 Am when Daphne and Kalfie will take over. That watch will end at 4:00am and if all seems quiet the entire group will sleep for a couple hours.
