Well we all are pin cushions for arrows it seems. Now we can see about us being able to move enough to get a few licks in on a wolf or two. I think if we are able to throw the chicken at a wolf to distract one or more with the food. Then go after one or two of the others to kill them. Or at least wound them enough that they leave a trail to their den.

Yes if Beowolf is ok he can toss a bird or two and those sticks that we had prepared also in the fire. I guess we should have stayed up top for a bit longer.

Or left one person in the trees to be able to see what else is going on and try to wound a few more of the beasties.

I'm not worried about the wolves as much as whatever sent the arrows. There might be 10 or 20 of the enemy out there! I'm just waiting to see how it turns out.

Well done Beowolf ! I think our friends were only interested in a quick raid, we best ride as fast as we can though our steeds are encumbered surely it be fast enough to get to the farm safely and report our adventure.

I do hope you do not mind the intrusion Beowolf. We can rest our wounds and clean them there. I pray we are not in need of more serious help than this.

The group quickly mounts taking what they need with them and dousing the fire. Mounted on burdened horses they head to the farm since it is closest refuge they can find.

Once there wound will nbe cleansed and all assessed fro requirment of medical attention. Beowolf will inquire more closely as to who the farmer might have unfinished buisness with both past and present.

If all are able they will return to the sight in the morning to asses the number of their attackers and where they may have came from.

Sounds very good Krakyn. I think we need to rest the rest of the night in relative safety. I think the wolves are being lead by something and we just killed 5 of them. We need to find where they are coming from as we now know they are being led by people or creatures on horseback. I would say that we head out on a scouting mission to find where the horses we heard last night went off to. If we can find their home base we can attack them there.

I do not think the old man has anything to do with this I think he was just the unfortunate one to be farthest from the village. I think Kalfie and Daphne scout out the tracks to see if they can find the home base of the attacks. That will give Beowulf and myself time to place some nasties up for our wolves mounted friends.

I love the idea of staking the wolves up as warning. Feel free to post the detail of how you wish them displayed. We can do the scouting but then medical attention will be required and possible rest to heal.
