[camp] Protect Meh Sheep - Page 59

OK we have the traps set and we know they were tamed wolves. I wonder if we can set up a ambush if they come at us tonight for killing their pets? I think having two people in the house to shoot arrows and beowulf ready to use his sword we can further harm them if they come close tonight. We need to rest and heal some more before the nights activities. Lets get some rest.

Well We know the size of the raiding parties and that they are using the wolves. I am still puzzled why this farm. Me think Mr. Farmer is not telling all.

Still tempted to think we need to take to the trees in the south we should be able to tag objects moving below us. For tonight we hole up.

We know they come from the Deaths mouth or pretty much. It is not a huge distance plus the track lead south each time to the open plains.

Beowolf needs to grill that girl of his a bit more. We need to also push on that farmer to find out what he has not told us about is relation with the thieves.

This just seems to darn personal to ignore.

The group takes a meal then retires till evening as they need the rest before tonights activities.

Once rested it is thought that Beowolf could stay in the house with Daphne and Kalfie. So they can shoot what come that way and provide protection for the farmer and Sophia. klar will take to the barn in hopes of seeing something the rest can not.

If opportunity arises Beowolf will press Sophia for more information regarding the farmer. Such as is he her father, have they always been at this farm or have they moved here after Sophia was born. Gently inquire about her mother as well.

Klar will also take the opportunity to have a deeper quiet discussion with the farmer. He will inquire to the farmers family, place of origins. Very gently he will inquire of Sophia's mother. Klar will reassure the farmer we are not here to stand judgment on his past but that we need to know in detail his past dealings with those that seek to wreak havoc on his farm.

Now the horses were under heavy burden. What were these varmints carrying? Live stock fetched by their pets? What else are they taking of value.

We should ask the farmer what he means when the elders told him they are aware of it. What are they aware of the bandits, wolves, what we did last night?

All it is referring to is that Deaths mouth pass in the mountains to the south is a refuge for many many thieves. The jump innocents unaware but never have done so so close to the village nor so openly.

I think a bigger issue is why were the horses so over burdened....they came from the south and returned there. Seems like straight up raid straight back. Just to let wolves feed? Make no sense.

We need to find out what they carried, so we know what the money making is. Why ride hours on end to let their pets hit here ad no one else seems bothered. Yes we are furthest south but still. Gold mining? This farmer sure seems to do little farming it seems to me.

Well they saw me alone at first, maybe they were watching us all the time and we didnt know it. Could be they thought we were easy pickings until they saw how we handle wolves yeah baby.

That is very possible. They thought a volley might soften us enough for the wolfs. A opps inexperienced adventures mistake.
