[camp] Protect Meh Sheep - Page 62

They may be licking thier wounds since they are down 5 wolves. I say keep our eyes open and move around a little to see if we see any signs of movement. Make another camp a little farther south and set up snares for horses and men. Rabbit and other game snares will help. I say lets stay out here for a couple days to see if they come back or any movement is noted. During the day we can scout out the are and sleep during the night we should be alert and ready with a ambush. The longer we stay out here the better we can make our defenses.

Sheep Meh Protect camp

Just remember we get far enough south we will be visited by a larger party.

So if we are going to camp out again we need more details. How far south, what are the traps. Place where in accordance with the camp. This means no retreat as I battle we are noobs and most likely end up disoriented and run into them.

We can leave Beowolf on the ground but I think we have better chance in high ground.

Post take one We can build on this rough start

The group retires till early afternoon. Upon waking they eat what they can and head back out south of the farm. They explain to the farmer they intend to set camp again farther south and spend the night there.

Kalfie in a area east and south of the "fake" camp sets more rabit snares, while looking for signs of passage by wolf or man.


Once done he will return and aide in sitting this second camp located more south of the fake camp.

The new camp will be set in a spot that gives a better view of the area around the camp especially to the south. It will not be so far that a hasty, retreat to the farm or village can not be made. Nor will it be visible in day by the thieves to the south.

Traps will be set around the camp such that any approaching with in bow shot will have to encounter them. They will be snares for wolves, Large branches pulled back to hit riders or men walking. The will be focus on the east west and south sides of the camp so as to leave the north for retreat or to full the attackers into a smaller area.

Beowolf will have a small hole dug near the fire pit so that he can minimize his exposure in the event of an attack. He will be near enough t tend to the fire and make it look like the camp is occupied. The horses will be tired to a tree near him.

One preparations are made Beowolf and Dapne will rest for an hour then klar and Kalfie. All will be awake and combat ready by 5:00 pm. Dry rations will be ate for supper.

This is very rough we need to polish this so we can use it for repeat performances I think.

I also think we better not keep same camp location too often or we will most certainly be hit by a large group. We might even wish just to stay at the farm this night and do the camp the following day. Put this day to scouring the country side instead.

I think with us off the farm site we can save the farmer some food. I think we are over staying on our farmer. I think the post sounded good and you are right we do not want to be in same place all the time. Setting traps for both wolves and men will help us in the long run. Moving our camp east or west a few times we can learn the area we are in and thus limit the possiblities of running in the wrong direction. This will also allow us a chance to see if we can find a better place to defend and may give us a chance to scout father south to see if we can find their hole.

Page 62 Sheep Meh Protect camp

The hole I bet is called Deaths mouth, see other adventures for details on that. I am hoping we might find an activity that they are doing or why they pick on this particular farmer. The wolves are eating but this seems to me they are trying to scare him off the land or starve him out.

Are they just looking for more freedom in their activities?

If were going to go south shouldnt we just ask if those people the farmer talked to can give some gold to us to get more horses and better armor.

Sorry Beowolf you need gold and more armor you will need to convert fp to do it.

Please let me know if this is your wish so I can include that in the post.

So you go to the party two stats page at bottom there is a link to convert fp to gold. You buy as much as you deem it will take. The email the gm. Once that is done I can place in the post that you go to town and purchase the items at what cost and how much gp you have left.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the option but I was more thinking of having someone else pay for it. Arent these people to the south a problem for the others in the village too? Maybe we can drum up some support for us as the heroes of the town to vanquish the wolves and what not. We can show them waht we did with the first set of wolves. Just an idea.

Might lower our image also. Just a thought. We need every ones thought on this before I post please. Thanks for replying Beowolf.
