Flame Temple

Don't forget to take the spear!.....I think we should try a different entrance, who knows what we may find. Hopefully we can go in undetected.

Let's take the spear and try the flagstone. Not sure about another entrance, sounds risky.

UPDATE 8

We search for another entrance... again bored.gif

Your curiosity is aroused by a granite monolith, carved to depict a squat demon with a grinning death's-head,  holding a plaque in its clawed hands. You step up on to the circular dais in front of the monolith to examine this plaque more closely. Most of the glyphs that scar the crumbling stone are indecipherable, their meaning lost in antiquity, but the five symbols which dominate the centre of the plaque are clear to you. They represent the principal deities of the Anku Empire. A jagged line corresponds to the thunder-god Tlal; Tonu the sun-god is shown as a disc fringed with radial lines; the large stylized flame in the middle is dearly  the  emblem  of  Katak  himself;  the  open outline of a  skull denotes Ictec,  the god of the netherworld;  and  the  last glyph,  a  short  spiral, represents the Anku deity of arts and crafts, whose name is now forgotten. In some mysterious way you feel compelled to touch one of these glyphs - but which:

The jagged line?                                Turn to 259
The sun-disc?                                    Turn to 143
The stylized flame?                            Turn to 222
The skull symbol?                              Turn to 171
The spiral?                                        Turn to 281

Wich glyph will we touch?

Let's go for the Spiral which is for Anku deity of arts and crafts, whose name is apparently now forgotten. Since his name is forgotten most wont think to choose to touch that glyph. Who knows we might get lucky.

The Dice Master says...

I say we take the stylized flame but this time try to avoid the last path we took.

Rather off topic, but...
GM, you did not answer my last question: can we place a SAVE point here in case we die? No use going through all the stuff we normally do all over again if we end up dieing? Also, since there are five options what would happen if we all chose a different option?

Yep I'm gonna be different and take the skull symbol. Maybe its just like that to scare us but hunters do not fall for that.

There is a save at each 20th update. If there is a tie, I'll wait until someone comes and untie the decision, of course.
