I just did a speed test for your benefit IndianChick:

QUOTE (TSTT Bandwidth Meter)
Your current bandwidth reading is: 48.50kbps which means you can download at 6.06 KB/sec. from our servers.

However, I am getting around -63dbms and can now sit in parts of my home that I could not before because of the bad reception. Maybe what I need now is a booster and I can really kick a signal, but then that may not do anything for speed.

I saw on another site that FLOW might double its speed offer to counter the TSTT Blink rubbish but I find they charge too much for the modem.

Trinis love to speculate. The safest thing you can do is just wait until an actual special comes out with a specific price and offer. Did you get your wireless setup fixed?

It is 11:51pm and by chance I ran a test and could not believe it:

QUOTE (TSTT Bandwidth Meter)
Your current bandwidth reading is: 495.90kbps
which means you can download at 61.99 KB/sec. from our servers.

Are they testing? Is it just that no one is online? Earlier today it was about 10% of that.

Well after a couple of days of good surfing (around 300-400kbs) we are back to 'normal' speeds that TSTT provides on what is supposed to be 400-700kbs connection:

QUOTE (TSTT Bandwidth Meter)
Your current bandwidth reading is: 29.20kbps which means you can download at 3.65 KB/sec. from our servers.

I just knew the "miracle" would not last long. They were probably testing their new DSL. rolleyes.gif

Well, actually TSTT test their ADSL2 should not affect wireless. I heard that why wireless is so slow is that the Bmobile network takes up available resource space that is supposed to be for wireless, but I do not know how true that is now. I believe we should get refunds for this worthless service. I need to write letters.

QUOTE (TSTT Bandwidth Meter)
Your current bandwidth reading is: 21.80kbps which means you can download at 2.73 KB/sec. from our servers.

You cannot get more pitiful than that.

I got my antenna. I got two more bars than I normally do but the speed is the same! I am so disappointed!
