Well, do not be disappointed with your antenna, TSTT is to blame. Based on the last spike I mentioned in this Thread I have to think that TSTT is purposely capping the amount of bandwidth we receive, but the question is why?
I am seriously thinking of writing TSTT over this matter.
You think writing TSTT will do any good? I for one will like to see what the response is so good luck!
JB when you write TSTT make sure to put in a word for me, tell them Indianchick mouse aint blinking.
Fantastic news IndianChick, looks like I will be going with FLOW's Internet service:
QUOTE (ASHA JAVEED @ Guardian) |
Internet users now have a choice of cheap bandwidth. Cable company Flow yesterday announced that it would offer a 20-hour 2 mbps package at $69.99. That's $9 cheaper than TSTT's blink offering, which is $79, as both companies head to a price war. The expansion in the broadband offering by Flow and TSTT will result in cheaper and more efficient service for consumers who have had to settle for dial-up or DSL service in the past few years. Effective November, Flow's prices are: n A 20 hour limited package with speed at 2mbps for $69.99 n U click unlimited one package with speed up to 2 mbps for $189.99 n U click unlimited two package with speed up to 6 mbps for $349.99 n U click unlimited three package with speed up to 15 mbps for $689.99 "True broadband is an experience that is difficult to articulate and therefore over the next 60 days, we will offer consumers an opportunity to try one of Flow's packages risk free with our new 30-day money back guarantee. Consumers will also enjoy free installation and a free modem during this promotional period," said John Reid, president of Flow. |
That is hot! Is that only for FLOW customers or for anyone who wants internet without the cable?
The way it is written in the article it seems to be for current FLOW customers but I doubt it will remain that way. I have been reading a lot that good stuff is supposed to come in November in time for Christmas, but I have not seen anything yet.
TSTT Scared?
Last week I signed up for FLOW internet. I should be getting the Modem later this week. Last night I put something to download and was surprised to see it completed this morning. Today I checked my speed and got this:

Your current bandwidth reading is: 355.60kbps which means you can download at 44.45 KB/sec. from our servers. |
The above only lasted one night, for the past few days it has been:
