JB you are just fortunate I guess. Geenie you should make the switch if you want real online freedom. Free yourself from the tstt slave masters.
Sorry folks. I am still not convinced that FLOW is the lesser of the two evils. Ever since I complained about not having transmission for my cable about two months ago, the CSR actually slammed the phone down on me. I refuse to support a company like that. With TSTT I am able to go online 95% but the downside is, it is so painfully slow and of course, let us not forget the non existent service. Something I have to live with for now I guess. I don't know guys. Maybe I am just plain obstinate or I must be a glutton for punishment. Or perhaps, I am secretly saving up to switch across to GREENDOT. I have heard great reviews about their 24 hr service, high speed and easy connection. Maybe I will continue to read your updates JB on how FLOW is going and based on that, I will have to make a decision. Gee whiz! So much pressure these days with Internet service. If it is not FLOW, it is TSTT who keeps calling to inquire when I am going to sign up with BLINK. FLOW calls occasionally too!
I guess JB I am still waiting on reviews where service is concerned. I read an article recently where a man was complaining about TSTT newest internet service BLINK. According to the article, he indicated that he could not access the internet since TSTT's system was down for many days. And he also voiced his disgust over the telephone service. I don't know JB, I may just stick to the slow "like molasses" dial up service and adopt a wait and see approach.
Geenie, do not limit yourself. Probably you cannot see it now, but once you get a faster connection you will never want to go back to dial-up. In fact, if I am by a client's place and they have dial-up I feel like pulling out my hair! I could hardly survive using wireless which is about 4 times the speed of dial-up. Go with Greedot if you feel better about it, but I believe FLOW was giving a 30 day money back guarantee, so I do not see what you have to lose.
I agree with you that it is very irritating to have dial up service. But to look at the positive side, having dial up service teaches you patience! JB today, I remembered why I refuse to register with FLOW for their internet service. I had no cable today from 11 am - 8:30 pm. And to make matters worse, I could not even speak to a CSR because I kept receiving a message indicating that the extension was busy and to leave a message after the tone. So for five hours, I have been trying to lodge a formal complaint about having a disruption in my cable but to no avail. I think FLOW is another way of spelling TSTT.
