FAKE TSUNAMI PLEA SPREADS VIRUS
A mass e-mail posing as a plea for aid to help the victims of last month's
Asian tsunami disaster is actually a vehicle for spreading a computer virus,

This really goes to show that there are people who will take any situation, tragic or not, to benefit their own purposes. Hopefully people are smart enough to ignore emails like these and prevent themselves from being infected.
This has got to be one of first time that a tragedy has been used to spread an email virus. I don't recall hearing about this time of thing happening before. Nimbus, charnoble, and code red had unknown initiatives, but a specific event being used to spread it? Wow, you have to be really cold hearted to do something like this.
