Authorities are investigating the physical assault and taunting of an 11-year-old autistic boy by classmates who videotaped the after-school incident

If you ever met a child or adult with Aspergers, you will describe them as very quiet, they do not socialize at all (their biggest challenge) and they are loners. Why in the world 4 students would do something like that is beyond me. I do not trust at all the education system these days, hence I home-school.

| The boy allegedly was bullied by three boys and two girls after they all got off a school bus on September 28. Police have referred the case to a court magistrate who could approve juvenile assault and battery charges. The boy's aunt and guardian said he was cut on his hand when he was shoved into a mailbox, and was bruised when he was pushed into some woods and struck. She said her nephew has Asperger's syndrome. That's just so disgusting,especially as it involves so many kids!
Children with Asperger's aren't a threat to anybody, and in fact they're quite highly intelligent and methodical, they just appear to be different from other kids, hence this horrible case of bullying.
I feel so sorry for this boy, and the trauma that he went through.

I am just wondering what the punishment will be. I was bullied as a Kid sometimes (though I did not have any disabilities) and I understand the pain that comes from being belittled.
Hopefully they can turn these kids around and help them become more compassionate.
