You should always inspect your roof every spring and fall to look for worn or damaged shingles to prevent leaks from starting. This will save you a lot of time and energy in preventing leaks. I concur KNtoran. I like to use wet/dry roof tar goes on even if cold or wet and then the sun just lets it spread into the cracks. Eves cleaning is very important and prevents major problems with little work.
