I am in the process of getting all my windows recaulked too. I have soo many storm windows that need attention and one that needs new glass. I am replacing it with plexiglass and just caulking that in place.

ok you like some idea on Canadian cost here we go Magsleys 2008 mayhem list of fun.

Gardens 400 ftsq with 2x4 pressure tread cedar trim 600.00 Included dirt 16 inch deep

Paint doors and front porch 50.00

Paint inside 200 4 rooms

Window 78x68 72x68 20x32 = 2500 I installed

Inside trim and we had the paint already 20.00

Rood(1800sqft) with front eves and a new sky light 4800.00

Pricing now furnace and central air with a small gas insert for fire place looks in range of 8700.00

Total spent on house since purchase add to this 5800 for floors and new kitchen tiles/counter top and bathroom counter top and tiles.

To spend yet is fix basement ceiling and drywall furnace room add ballpark 500.


all windows are enerstar rated and I have 3 more to go will be ball park 150.00 they are 48x42.


We also put in 500 in other flower beads and dirt a sand box when we bought the house.


we now have officially made the price of the house what it should have been when we bought so have build a good bit of equity in 4 years.
