Having only been here once and for a short time at that a few things stood out. The people were awesome I have never been so welcomed by a community before. Fun loving and good humor is to be expected when stopping here.

Just beware of the Rubber boot, code and a little thing called Screech, but you will need all three if you like to become and honoray Newfie. Drink the screech from the boot then kiss the old cod.

Neat term here was a wannabe... A term for a mainlander (any one not from the rock called Newfoundland) who would like to live there.

A unique music item I noted was an ugly stick. Take a long stick and decorate heavily with old bottle caps so that it clanks when thumped on the ground.
