The Fall

My husband and I have been discussing the doctrine of The Fall. Are there any insights into whether or not the other worlds fell only after Adam and Eve partook of the fruit on this earth? The atonement applies to other worlds, wouldn't the fall also apply universally?

I believe that what happened to Adam and Eve happens on other worlds(There had to be a way to propagate the species on other Earths.) Each Earth must have had their own beginning.

I am not sure how Christ's atonement affects other worlds. My mind is too small to understand how His atonement affects other earths. I do think however that the offspring of every "Adam and Eve" of each Earth must be redeemed for transgression their parents(their personal Adam and Eve) and not the Adam and Eve of our Earth.
