Dance as Discipline
In Chicago, black boys struggle to stay in school and stay out of jail. But a new school program is providing the motivation and the self-discipline to do just that -- it's called footworkin'. Stemming from a way for gangs to battle without violence, footworkin' is a dance that combines tap, break dancing and traditional African dance. The respect and dedication required to participate on the school's footworkin' team drives students to do well in school and stay out of trouble "Nightline" co-anchor Cynthia McFadden reports.
