FLOW Trinidad - Page 10

I've been noticing of late that when TV 6 News comes on the screen goes blank or the picture stops moving. This happens every now and again... has anyone else experienced this?

Comments: I paid my arrears since June 29 2010 at RBTT, yet to date I am still getting bills with arrears and late charges. Your reps have copied my bills twice to rectify, but no change. I was told to pay the late charges and once all was well I would be rebated, well I am still waiting.

I don't know why viewers complain about their specifics of FLOW here. This is NOT FLOW's support Thread, this merely a REVIEW of FLOW's services. If you need help from a FLOW support / sales representative I suggest you Email or call them directly.

Many individuals have complained that flow is not very customer service oriented. People are fed up with several interruptions in their cable service or sometimes, receiving no service at all. In spite of flow's recent upgrade from analog to digital cable, the picture quality is sometimes very poor and the service interruptions continue.

On 1 November 2007, flow has announced an increase in cable rental from $197.40 to $210.00 During the month of December 2007, flow has stopped offering movie channels such as cinemax, HBO, showtime and starz. Customers now have the option of selecting the above channels, along with other channels, in package deal. In light of all of this, would you remain with flow or would you consider switching across to directv?

Since 2007 we paying that rate? Wow that stands for something. I guess people got so accustomed to paying that rate, that we forgot how long ago it was. I think the interruptions has to be an area thing because I don't get much of those these days. In fact I can't remember when last we had an interruption with FLOW. I am not talking about blocked channels, I have gotten accustomed to that and I understand the reasoning behind it, so it is not a bother to me anymore. I also have noticed less sticking of the channels, so this leads me to believe that maybe there is a problem with the wiring in these particular areas where people are complaining about channels sticking and services being interrupted. Not sure if calling them will make a difference but I guess if enough people from the same area complain, then they may look into it. Just a thought, not sure if it is the reason but something to look into.

Comments: This is why I switched from FLOW and use Direct TV, that eliminates the cable scenario. That way if there is something wrong its DirectTV and they can't blame it on anything else!

Of recent the internet has gone off for periods of between two minutes to as much as half an hour. Maybe not noticeable to a casual user, but we pick it up instantly.
