Apple Computer Inc. on Wednesday said it will begin selling a version of its iMac personal computer for $899 for the education market as it bolsters its business aimed at students and teachers.

Imac Education
A stunning rebuttal of the biggest complaint against Apple in my lifetime! They have always heard the complaint that they are just to expensive for the average user or for businesses to implement. Creating a much cheaper, and dare I say highly affordable version for the education market is a long term project. Getting children to use Apple again will mean that when they get older they will be used to Imacs and more likely to spend the money to get one. Brilliant marketing move, but well over due for a company that makes quality machines.
