Is there anyone here who is a fan of Snickers Dark? If so, how do you like it as compared to regular Snickers? I like the ad they have for it with the Puritan and the Viking all dressed up for Halloween.

I prefer the regular Snickers but I don't really care for dark chocolate. My husband on the other hand, really likes it and he did like the Snickers dark.

Rather off topic, but... You mentioned Halloween and I don't recall seeing any of those in the haul of candy the kids got. WAY TOO MUCH!

I am a fan of dark chocolate so this will appeal to me, but I have not see it here yet, it must be fairly new?

I agree with Alaskan and will add that there is even one better than this, anyone know which one I am talking about? Let's see if people here really know their candy bars.

We don't have the dark chocolate one out for general sale here at the moment, but I have tried the dark chocolate one as an import. My verdict is that it's nice (as I like dark chocolate) but it's definitely not as nice as the regular one.
I think you've got to like the bitter sweet taste of dark chocolate in general to really appreciate this one!

Please forgive my ignorance but how long does it take for other areas to get these type of items to sell?

Going by other products that I've seen other countries get before us, we seem to be around 2 years behind---so I'll look forward to tasting all these new products around Christmas 2009

It makes me want to just send everyone a candy bar that doesn't have access! We (USA) don't really understand how much we have--even things as simple as candy!

I was thinking though, that even though the Snickers Dark wasn't one of my favorites because of the dark chocolate--Milkyway Dark (Midnight? Something like that) has just the right combo. I think it is truly something one has to appreciate to eat much of it.
