You ever told a secret and had that person tell someone else. Then that person tells two more and so on...
It isnt like there are large number going back to Mexico to offset the influx. Health Care, education, social security, etc... Are paying for many illegal aliens. Early on, the burden wasnt so bad. The tax that illegals paid for purchases of goods while in the US basically paid for what benefits they got for education and services. Today, that just is not true and our governments, state and federal, cannot support this burden when these people are not putting into the system.
Additionally, border states like Arizona and Texas are seeing some crime spilling over from the border.

Maybe we need to accept once and for all that it's impossible for us to deal with this problem and we should make Mexico part of the US and get over it and problem solved!.

Taking over mexico will not solve the problem at all. I think it would cause more headaches as we would be very hard pressed to fight off the drug cartels that have some serious strongholds and people on their sides. Plus how many other nation would come to mexicos assistance to get the USA out of it? I can see it being like the 1990/91 invasion and ultimate freedom of Kuwait after Iraq invaded them.
