You're an illegal immigrant to the US and you just had 135 pounds of your 150 pound stash of marijuana stolen by 2 thugs. What do you do? You got to get that shipment wrapped up properly by tonight and you cannot be bothered trying to find the 2 guys that stole your stuff, so who do you call? Well, if you are this guy, you probably should have taken a few more minutes to make that call...

| McALLEN, Texas - A man was arrested for drug possession after telling authorities that two masked gunmen had stolen 150 pounds of marijuana from his home. Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies arrived at the home near Penitas in South Texas to find the door kicked in and nearly 15 pounds of pot lying on the floor, Sheriff Lupe Trevino said. Jose Guadalupe Flores, 35, escaped while the men ransacked the house but returned later and told the deputies he had been wrapping the drugs for shipment when the intruders arrived. "The guy walked right up and said the drugs were his," Trevino said. "That's not the smartest move." Flores, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was charged with felony possession of marijuana at an arraignment hearing Monday. Because of his immigration status, Flores will be jailed until his case is heard. Authorities were still searching for the gunmen. |
That's right officer: "they stole my marijuana and I want it back...can you help? I really gotta get this shipment out tonight!" That just CANT be all the drugs that were in that apartment...it just isnt possible!

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know I am illegal, but let's get back to the important stuff...my marijuana. That is by far the funniest "dumb criminal" story I have heard in a long time. WOW! Your right, a picture of the police officers face as he told them would of been priceless!

What a hilarious report! Is it possible he must have been smoking some of the weed before he contacted the police? I had to laugh because I could not believe that the man would have the nerve to call the police to report that some of his marijuana was stolen. I think this man must have been high as a kite to actually believe that the authorities would have helped him!
