Hitler must have had an occult view point, his whole idea of control over race and being was that of a cultist. You do not have to chant to be a cultist.

His belief in a "superior" race does not require that he was an occultist either in belief or practice.

The idea of a superior race was just a part of the grand picture that involved Atlantist, ancient runes and superstitions. Every cult leader always places themselves as the central figure and a way to change the world through their actions and controls.

However, Hitler's "cult" was a political one not religious or spiritual. I don't think the horror of his rule needs to be beefed up by including occultist in his list of transgressions. He sought political power because Germany lost a great deal after the first world war and he believed it should be restored to its former glory-and that he was the man to do it. He believed in the superiority of the Aryan race because he was a Fascist who thought there should be a dominant race of people to control the second class races of Jews/Gypsies etc and non-Germans. He didn't need ancient runes to have this worldview he just needed to wrap his anti-semitism, patriotism and grandiose ego into an all encompassing political philosophy to suit his purposes. Add public disenchantment, German resentment at the Treaty of Versailles and his ability to tap into underlying conspiracy theories about "power mad" Jews and you have the fertile ground into which he could sew that philosophy. This was power politics, pure and simple.

Look at history, most things political, indeed most of the major world leaders always had some religious ideology behind it.

In most cases man made a religion to dominate other men.
Sometimes he warped an existing belief system or took its views to an extreme.
Holy books have been misinterpreted, scriptures have been misused all for power over others. Their race may be the reason, or their hold over land or resource.
But then all man needs to dominate another is the belief in the fact that he can.

If we think Hitler is religious then its no big deal cause Satanism is a religion isn't it? He pretty much matches that description.

To be frank, I think allowing Hitler some access to "evil paranormal activities" gives him more credit than he is due. Rather than recognise him simply for what he was: a man who sought power and got it at the expense of at least six million dead Jews: this seeks to elevate him to a position he does not deserve. Hitler wasn't just a man-oh no! He had access to evil powers, he danced with the devil, he occupied a place outside of normal everyday humanity and had one cloven foot in the spirit realm-no! This will not do.

He was a human being who dominated a human political system for his own ends and thats it. Giving him the keys to some spiritual significance only serves to grant him praise he doesn't warrant. Recognise him for what he was not what our imagination's demand he must have been.
