The problem is that these things are fore casted for years in advance so we can prevent the predicted problem. So many times we have simply laughed at a scientist prediction, while other scientists argue against it. Then, years down the road, when no body is looking any more, it happens. These predictions aren't meant to be absolute, but warnings for us to take measures to preserve what we have so there won't be a problem. When we do nothing, we ensure the worst case scenario, instead of acting and preventing every one of them. Its likely that taking simple and small steps will prevent any problems with fish in the future. We should take heed and take these small precautions just to make sure we always have fish in the sea. Especially Orange Roughy! Yum!
