My Brother And Adhd

Hello I noticed this topic about add and adhd and I just had a question. my brother 14 and has I believe adhd, he was on Ridalin and the doctor took him off of that because it wasn't working for him anymore. He had to be in this psych hospital for kids and they also diagnosed him with bipolar and anxiety so he is on meds for all of the dianosis I have stated but for the ridalin they changed him to something else. He still is the same as when he was on ridalin. He has been out of the hospital for a month and he has thrown a 16" knife at my sister who is 16. I just wanted to ask what could be done about his behavior since it seems as though nothing has change mentally for him?

I have a brother who has bi-polar, aspergers, and adhd. This type of near psychotic behavior has to do more with his bipolar than his adhd. I would seek help, if I were your parents, from a psychologist who understands his disease. He needs treatment for the bi-polar, as that can lead to suicidal tendencies, if it hasn't already.
