Tree Man / Treeman
Just Noted this on the article with the girl who had one arm being removed from her back. Source
Makes one think how he would have been treated by a priest in medieval times. What legends or lore could have stemmed from such a virus.
Tree Man? Thats not even a good super villain name! This guy looks like he should be a crew mate on the Flying Dutchman. Whats odd is that it doesn't appear to be painful, he seems to be happy, as does his little girl. And he doesn't seem to mind all the attention either.
I seriously have never seen anything like this before or would of thought it was possible! I just wonder how he does anything!
That is one of the things about growing up in the USA where medicines are available whenever you need them. It makes one thankful but also sorrowful to see something like this that Vitamin A will help!
As konquererz mentioned, he seems happy--and I guess he may be happy with the fact there is hope for him. It seems as if they (the growths on hands and feet) would be so heavy! It mentions he is often ridiculed. I think it is amazing that he raised his two children after his wife left him.
Thanks for sharing this!
I saw the first National Geographic documentary about the "Tree Man / Treeman" and was very sorry for what the man had to go through. At the same time I was glad by the end of the one hour film to learn that he had success in the treatment of the skin virus.
Now a year later I am watching a new documentary "Treeman Meets Treeman". Another man with the same problem comes out of hiding in the jungle to finally get treatment.

This man is facing new challenges as 'branches' begin to regrow. How sad. I was hoping that they won't.
