Gospel The Core

To me personally, the core of the gospel can be found in the relationships that we have. First and foremost is our relationship with our God. I look at the symbolic marriage relationship that the Bible uses to explain the Savior's love for his church. I then consider the eternal nature of our families. This would include all mankind since they are spiritual brothers and sisters. If our relationship with God is good (when we are diligent in keeping our covenants) then we are doing well, and if we treat others well regardless of how they treat us then we are on the right path.

Nothing wrong with the quote, in fact it all comes down to what is the greatest of all commandments "Love God with all your heart, might mind and soul" on this hangs all the law and prophets or in other words if we truly love God everything else is secondary. You can try to complicate things but it is as simple as that.
